For all of history before the 19th century, artists didn’t go to colleges or art academies. They learned by apprenticeship, working alongside master painters and calligraphers.

In the spirit of traditional artists, I hold a weekly open studio so my students can get personalized feedback and make use of my equipment, supplies, and teaching materials between lessons.

Open Studio is $20 a person for 3 hours, and I cap attendance at 6 people so everyone gets plenty of focused feedback.
